In the second half of the Artist Loft watercolour paper I drew a simple drawing of a cat and a gift box. (Click for first half.) However, I wanted the lines to be black and prominent. Embossing the lines worked great, especially since it resists watercolours and I didn’t have to worry about the lines fading. I just had to stay between them. I wish I spent more time though making the lines more straight, but I guess I was going for rough textured edges.
By the way, I love water colouring! I finally found something I like in art. I still love the other artsy crafty thing, but water colours I feel are very forgiving and nicer visually. Don’t you think?
