I love making art postcards with watercolour sheets. I cut it to 6×6 inches.
This art journal booklet was fun to make. I printed out some vintage lady images I got from The Graphics Fairy website (Amazing collection of vintage photos). I hope you like the end result. It’s a long tutorial, less than 10 minutes, but I made 4 pages and a booklet cover too!
I have many scraps and I wanted to slowly use them up somehow. I saw many tutorials online where people create a mosaic background with them. I wanted it a bit textured and a little raised in some spots. Therefore, I glued a lot of layers on some spots and one layer only on another. I used Golden Gel Medium and old scraps cut out into little squares and rectangles. I used a 3×3 inch wood canvas, a wood frame and wooden butterflies that I painted black and then used Faber Castel Gelatos in gold color to give it a wood-like look.
