DIY Washi Tape Tower Made of Cardboard

A few weeks ago I bought my first washi tape collection, but I did not know how to store it. I wanted it placed conveniently on my desk and use up some of the scrapbook paper I have by Molly & Rex. I love the pattern and I got those washi tapes by Molly & Rex too.

What I did was use small cardboard pieces that were 3″ x 1.5″ and covered it with scrapbook paper using a hot glue gun. I also made long strip stoppers so that washi tapes won’t roll over that are 0.5″ x 3″. I placed them on the top and bottom of each window opening. I tilted the tower a bit by using extra decorated cardboards and give it an angled heel. Finally, I decorated the tower with die cuts and decorative tape I got from Dollarama.

I wish I recorded or took pics of step by step how I did it, but I was too into the zone to do that. 🙂
